The purpose of this project is to train the youth of Eubank Baptist Church, in Eubank, Kentucky, to memorize Scripture by completing a 12-week curriculum. It teaches the value of the practice of memorization, methods to successfully memorize Scripture, and gives students opportunity to practice intentional memorization of Philippians 1. Chapter 1 describes the project’s context, rationale, purpose, goals, research methodology, and limitations. Chapter 2 demonstrates that the Bible teaches Bible memorization as a vital spiritual discipline. Chapter 3 uses extrabiblical material to argue that memorization is an applicable form of education to help young people learn, process, and utilize information in real-world situations. Chapter 4 details the project’s preparation, promotion, implementation, and data analysis. Chapter 5 evaluates the strengths, weaknesses, purpose, and goals of the project and explores ways to improve it.en_US
