The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, 2015 Faculty Supervisor: Dr. James M. Hamilton, Jr. The purpose of this project was to implement a church membership course in order to equip the members and regular attenders of Williams Creek Baptist Church with a basic biblical ecclesiology for the church. Chapter 1 presents the purpose for the project as well as the goals, ministry context, rationale, key definitions, limitations and delimitations, and research methodology. Chapter 2 presents the biblical and theological support for teaching ecclesiology with an emphases on the exegetical study of primary texts from Ephesians. Chapter 3 presents the theoretical and sociological support for teaching ecclesiology and establishes essential factors for developing a church membership course. Chapter 4 presents the details and resources represented in the successful implementation of the project. Finally, chapter 5 presents an evaluation of the project, including the purpose and goals, strengths and weaknesses, what could have been done differently, and theological and personal reflections.en_US
