This study examines the relationship between selected disciplines of physical wellness and spiritual wellness among Southern Baptist pastors in the state of Indiana. Three research questions guided the study, examining the self-reported levels of physical and spiritual disciplines of the pastors and the relationship between those disciplines. The researcher surveyed 420 Southern Baptist senior pastors of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana. The "Christian Wellness Profile" and the "Spiritual Wellness Survey," created by the researcher, were sent by postal mail to the pastors, along with a postage-paid reply envelope. The former survey addresses selected disciplines of physical wellness, while the latter addresses selected disciplines of spiritual wellness. The data has been displayed and discussed in an objective manner, through the use of various tables and narrative. Correlation statistics were used to compile the data in evaluating a relationship between selected disciplines of physical wellness and spiritual wellness. The researcher found a relationship between the inward disciplines and the physical wellness disciplines of nutrition, substance use, and coping/stress. The researcher found a relationship between the outward disciplines and the physical wellness disciplines of exercise, nutrition, and coping/stress. The researcher found a relationship between the corporate disciplines and the physical wellness disciplines of substance use and coping/stress. Key words.
